Here are a handful of ideas to get you thinking:

• Hold an Ebay auction of your unwanted possessions or tout your talents for the day to the highest bidder.
• Create a competition then challenge friends, family and colleagues to get involved.
• Get others to pay for you to give up something you love (chocolate, watching sport, talking?)
• Swish it. Swap your unwanted clothes for someone else’s – for a small fee of course!
