Adult outreach service

This is a free service for women and men in the High Peak area who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse.

Someone to talk to.

We know how difficult it can be for people experiencing domestic abuse to talk about what’s happening to them and seek help. This free service is provided by highly trained and experienced outreach workers who work on your behalf to get you access to the services, help and support you need.

If you need our help, or know someone who does, contact us on 01457 856675 or 0800 019 8668 or email admin@crossroadsderbyshire.org Information is available in other languages.

What to expect

You’ll be contacted by one of our outreach workers who’ll discuss your individual circumstances and the risks you face, focussing at all times on your safety. Face-to-face meetings can be arranged at a safe venue of your choice.

We’ll listen to you and support you in whatever way you feel is appropriate for example we can assist you in accessing things like legal advice and health services, liaising with the police or, if appropriate, find refuge accommodation via our Harmony Project.
