Domestic Abuse Senior Accommodation Worker (37 hours)

The Role:

You will oversee the day-to-day running of the Harmony Project domestic abuse refuge. The Harmony Project provides a safe space for young women aged 16 to 24 and their children who have experienced domestic abuse.

We’re looking for a highly organised domestic abuse specialist, ideally with experience of working in a residential project. You will need to have an in-depth knowledge and experience of working with survivors of domestic abuse and its impact on their children.

This role requires the ability to work alone, and manage a team of support workers.

Flexible working hours will be required to meet the needs of this post and you will need the use of a car and a current driving licence as you will be required to travel.


This post is open to women only (Exempt under the Equality Act 2010, pursuant to schedule 9 part 1)

The post is funded until March 2025

Scale point 18 £24,313 per annum

We offer: employer’s contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave, rising after 2 years’ service and a training programme.
